Mechanical Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Macstaff. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing mechanical building services systems for high-quality engineering firms.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineers to understand requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Perform load calculations, duct sizing, equipment selection, and coordinate with other trades to ensure optimal system performance.
- Review external design solutions and conduct site inspections to provide technical support.
- Design and develop HVAC systems for industrial and commercial premises.
- Provide technical support to the project team and coordinate with clients, architects, and project teams.
- Experience working within the Building Services Sector as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer.
- HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Proficient in CAD/Revit and HVAC software.
- Strong knowledge of regulations and building codes.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and attention to detail.
