Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing credit and payment conditions for both new and existing clients
  • Managing cash collections in accordance with established terms
  • Preparing weekly forecasts of receipts
  • Generating and acting on aged debtor reports
  • Evaluating and managing credit insurance coverage
  • Reporting on overdue accounts and monitoring debtor days
  • Interpreting and delivering insights from our financial systems
  • Addressing inquiries from the sales team and clients via phone and email
  • Fostering positive relationships with our clientele
  • Following up on outstanding debts
  • Establishing new customer accounts
  • Conducting account reconciliations and generating invoices

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control or a related finance role
  • Experience managing a diverse customer portfolio in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities
  • Competent in IT, particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A proactive mindset aligned with Unilin's values

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a commercial setting
  • Familiarity with SAP software
  • Advanced Excel capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
