Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Year 3

Teach Now is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to work closely with a supportive year 3 team in a warm and welcoming school in the heart of Brent.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated teaching assistant who has an interest in pursuing a career in education. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting children with SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and EAL. The successful candidate will be able to engage and motivate children, display good behaviour management skills, and use their creativity in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to Year 3 students
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide individual support to students with SEN needs
  • Help to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
