Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Support Officer to join our Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Supervisory team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Transport Manager with the day-to-day operational management of our fleet, including maintenance, repair, and replacement.

Main Duties
  • Support the Transport Manager in the operational management of the fleet, including maintenance, repair, and replacement.
  • Plan, organize, and administer complex projects, including stakeholder communications and coordination.
  • Accurately record data for specific activities of work, including benefit recording and project plans.
  • Lead the coordination of operational projects, including liaison with project or operational managers.
  • Support the production of annual fleet replacement reporting, including project outcomes and deliverables.
  • Ensure ongoing stakeholder liaison is maintained, including updates on project roll out and operational compliance.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Sound knowledge of Transport Services and evidence of CPD in transport and logistics.
    • CPC in Transport to Oversee and Manage Operations License.
    • Degree or equivalent relevant job experience, ILM L3.
  • Desirable:
    • Ability to drive a range of vehicles.
    • Patient focused and the ability to lead by example in ensuring a patient focused quality service.
    • Ability to roll out training to others.
    • Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff through service procedures, whilst maintaining high standards.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality in the workplace.
