About the Role

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. As a Band 7/8a Preceptorship Post, this role offers a unique opportunity for a newly qualified Clinical Psychologist to develop their skills and expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including assistant psychologists and trainee clinical psychologists.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of CAMHS policies and services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Experience working in CAMHS or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
