Job Title: Real Estate Finance Secretary

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Secretary to join our dynamic commercial property team at Bridge Legal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property finance and be able to work effectively with clients, including banks and other lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the instigation of matter opening processes and issue initial enquiries
  • Obtain and review property searches, and prepare draft reports on title for review by senior lawyers
  • Prepare suites of banking documentation, including legal charges, guarantees, and corporate authorisations
  • Maintain good file management, electronic storage, and archiving
  • Liaise with clients, team members, and third-party solicitors to drive transactions forward
  • Issue and track completion of agreed form documents via DocuSign
  • Manage the completion process, including funds flow and redemption
  • Handle post-completion matters, including registration at Companies House and the Land Registry

Requirements:

  • Experience in property finance and a strong understanding of commercial property law
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients
  • Proficiency in using DocuSign and other relevant software
