Position Overview:
Our client, a reputable educational institution located in South West London, is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Facilities Maintenance Engineer, your primary duty will be to perform both scheduled and on-demand maintenance across the campus facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and inspections on Air Handling Units (AHU), Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Addressing electrical issues, clearing blockages, managing leaks, and replacing valves.
  • Executing plumbing and drainage tasks along with other minor repairs.
All tasks will focus on first-fix solutions and ensuring safety standards are met.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a multi-skilled background with a solid understanding of building services. A proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
Our client offers a competitive salary of £40,000 along with:
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 4:30pm)
  • On-call duty (1 in 11)
