Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vibration Project Engineer to join our Dynamic Engineering team within the Asset Management business sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering vibration and dynamic stress measurement data on clients' assets, both on and offshore, ensuring a consistent high standard in the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with customers to optimize opportunities and support the development of new business.
- Lead and execute engineering tasks related to the provision of quality and timely proposals and contract engineering analysis for project delivery.
- Manage allotted tasks to quality, time, and cost related to a specific project or portfolio of projects.
- Advise clients on dynamic integrity-related scenarios, using a broad range of industry codes and guidelines to solve routine or complex problems.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer or other applicable technical discipline with a working knowledge of tools used to assess problems in the fields of dynamics and fatigue. They will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience and be comfortable working at a senior level.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as BS7608, Energy Institute AVIFF Guidelines, BS7910, and ASME 19.3.
- Experience with noise and acoustics.
