Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Integrity Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen, working with an upstream Oil & Gas client. This is a hybrid working opportunity, with full rights to work in the UK only.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the development and continuous improvement of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) to ensure the integrity of our assets.
  2. Provide technical advisory services to operations teams onshore and offshore, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage and develop Risk Based Assessments (RBA) for Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programs.
  4. Review and accept inspection and integrity work scopes to ensure they meet the required standards.
  5. Manage and maintain the anomaly management system to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  6. Provide technical input and advice for repair methodologies and coordinate repair scopes of work.
  7. Assist with managing the fabric maintenance program to ensure the integrity of our assets.
  8. Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process for integrity-related projects.
  9. Coordinate and manage failure investigations with 3rd party contractors and provide technical input to failure investigations and failure mechanism identification.
  10. Attend regular meetings to provide updates and ensure work scopes are gate compliant ahead of work commencement.
  11. Collaborate with teams to develop improvement activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  12. Attend monthly corrosion control meetings to ensure chemical application and chemical analysis KPIs are being met.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Structural or other related disciplines from a recognised university, or appropriate industry experience.
  2. Experience in Oil & Gas and in an Integrity Operations role.
  3. Certification and/or working knowledge of: API 580/581, API 510, API 570, API 571, API 579, NACE standards, AWS standards, CSWIP/ASNT NDT Techniques.
  4. Working knowledge in key sections of: ASME V III Sec Div. 1/2, ASME IX, ASME V, ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5, ASME PCC-2.
