Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and expert advice on all aspects of personal safety, health, and environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Provide training and development programs to ensure employees are aware of their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the site management team to establish a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement environmental processes and procedures to maintain compliance and improve environmental performance.

Requirements:

  • Educated to at least Level 3 (AS/A Level or Level 3 qualification), ideally relevant degree level 2:2 or above.
  • Corporate membership of IOSH by examination.
  • NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent, is required as a minimum.
  • Significant Health, Safety & Environment experience in an operations environment, ideally within the engineering/production environment.
  • Chemical processing knowledge and experience of managing a COMAH regulated site.
