Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients with urological cancers, including education, counseling, and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to urological cancer care.
  • Provide informal and formal teaching to patients, staff, and carers.

Requirements

  • First-level registration as a nurse.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • First-level degree in a relevant subject.
  • Higher degree or willingness to undertake one.
  • Teaching qualification or experience.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty.
  • Experience in research.
  • Oncology qualification.
  • Urology qualification.
