AGM Construction Recruitment is in search of a Chartered Structural Engineer to enhance their dynamic design consultancy in Huddersfield. This role is crucial for delivering ongoing technical design assistance to a diverse range of clients throughout the UK, providing significant opportunities for professional growth and career progression.

As a Chartered Structural Engineer, your primary focus will be on residential projects, allowing you to demonstrate your proficiency in executing designs within this domain. Your responsibilities will include producing precise reports and designs, which will be vital to the company's expansion. Furthermore, you will mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians, ensuring the provision of exceptional services to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in UK-based design consultancies
  • Expertise in Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber materials
  • In-depth knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and design guidelines
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and technical design abilities
  • Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE
  • Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle

Software Proficiency:

  • AutoCAD
  • TEDDS
  • Microsoft Office suite
