Job Description

Role Overview

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. This role requires a strong leader who can implement and maintain efficient inventory management processes, working closely with the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and supervise warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Analyze data to optimize warehouse performance and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • IT skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience in ecommerce fulfillment is advantageous.
