Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Pricing Specialist to join our client's Business Development team. As a Commercial Pricing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate pricing estimates for new and existing contracts, which will ultimately lead to gaining more business for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the success of tenders and the business development department.
  • Uphold high standards in tendering, accuracy, commercial insight, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Take ownership of and continually improve the company's tendering model.
  • Conduct site visits to support pricing and resource planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and operations departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in pricing and estimation, preferably in a business development or sales role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
