Job Title: Outreach Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Support Worker to join our team at Empower Family Group. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will play a vital role in supporting children, families, and carers in Somerset, Devon, and Bristol.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing mentor support, and helping young people and families navigate challenges. You will have the chance to work with a variety of individuals, including babies, families, and young people, and support them in times of crisis.

As an Outreach Support Worker, you will be required to travel to different locations, including homes and offices, to provide support and services. You must have a full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, as well as business insurance.

Requirements
  • You will need to be a caring, resilient, and adaptable team player.
  • It is essential that you are a positive and motivated individual.
  • Previous experience in a support work role with children, young people, and families would be advantageous, along with NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Residential Childcare qualification.
  • Driving license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check for child and adult workforce with barred list checks. The successful candidate will be required to pay upfront for their enhanced DBS check, which will be refunded once they have completed 100 hours of work.
