Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our management team at Four Squared. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our financial strategy, ensuring the financial stability and growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to support our long-term objectives.
    • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
    • Ensure regular comprehensive financial reporting to the management board and stakeholders.
    • Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to maintain the company's financial health.
  • Credit Management:
    • Work with the credit control team to enhance and enforce credit policies and procedures.
    • Oversee credit control, collections, and manage relationships with creditors and debtors.
    • Monitor and mitigate credit risk effectively.
  • Financial Systems and Controls:
    • Implement and maintain robust financial systems and internal controls.
    • Oversee internal and external audits and address any findings promptly.
  • Operational Finance Management:
    • Take a hands-on approach to managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
    • Provide support and guidance to the finance team in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, insurers, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Strong experience in credit management and implementing financial systems and controls.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, and risk management.
  • A robust, hands-on approach to managing day-to-day financial operations.
  • Experience in acquisitions would be advantageous.
