Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highways Engineer to join our team at SLR. As a key member of our highways team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design and project management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed design, feasibility studies, and scheme reports for a variety of projects
  • Take responsibility for project management, budgeting, producing bills of quantities, and costings
  • Ensure scheme designs comply with specification and agreed programme
  • Work to ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements
  • Assess designs for environmental impacts alongside colleagues
  • Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third parties
  • Coordinate with other team members associated with the design
  • Support junior team members working on projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in highways engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
