About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both pupils and teaching staff, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Assist pupils with their learning needs, ensuring they understand the material
  • Encourage and promote the use of the Welsh language among students
  • Help create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements
  • Fluency in Welsh (both spoken and written)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we can help you obtain this)
  • To be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
  • Two professional references covering 24 months
  • Level 2 Safeguarding (provided by Teaching Personnel)
