Quick Staff UK Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operator to join their team in the Tonyrefail area. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and handling finished goods, adhering to company-approved standard operating procedures and policies for health & safety, hygiene, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate product labeling and adherence to specification sheets.
  • Conduct packaging in accordance with company hygiene requirements.
  • Feed line equipment and participate in equipment changes as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain material usage and wastage levels.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Highlight any shortages to prevent unnecessary downtime.
  • Optimize machinery utilization and run equipment at correct speed levels.
  • Complete production administration procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Lift items up to 25kg while adhering to company health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the training of colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, resourceful, adaptable, and flexible individual.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Desire to undertake ongoing training and development.
  • GCSE Level or equivalent education.

Working Hours: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday (rotating weekly)
