About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Potensis, a reputable developer with a strong focus on residential development. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in providing engineering advice and managing the technical aspects of our new projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering design advice to the business, including preparation of detailed designs, layouts, roads, drainage, and foundations.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates at planning application stage and at issue of information to the Building Department.
  • Manage external consultants to ensure that engineering designs are accurate, produced on time, and meet the agreed brief.
  • Prepare planning layouts based on draft designs received from the Head of Design, as agreed by the Technical Director.
  • Provide technical information to in-house build teams and subcontractors to ensure that designs can be implemented.
Requirements
  • Civil engineering design experience, preferably in relation to new build residential projects, specifically relating to Section 278, Section 104, and Section 38 works.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
