We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our in-house workshop team in Bristol. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for optimizing productivity and quality through effective workshop planning and collaboration with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5 mechanics and oversee the maintenance of a large vehicle fleet, plant, and machinery.
  • Develop and implement workshop planning tools to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Lead by example, motivating and developing the team to achieve exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading a fleet maintenance team from a logistics/transport background.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • HGV licence C+E desirable.
