Role Overview:

As a CAD Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing incidents and requests related to CAD services.
  • Providing end-user support for CAD toolsets.
  • Overseeing the development, integration, testing, certification, and deployment of new and updated CAD tools.
  • Monitoring and reporting on security incidents, including vulnerability remediation.
  • Assisting with license renewals, purchasing, and utilization monitoring.
  • Facilitating the transition of services into a defined service model through Operational Readiness Reviews.
  • Managing access through application configuration or Active Directory.
  • Conducting infrastructure monitoring and hardware evaluation.
  • Creating and maintaining stakeholder lists and supporting communication initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT governance and security policies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Extensive experience with CAD applications, installations, and configurations, particularly with Siemens NX and CATIA.
