Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to join our team at The Gym Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our fitness operations, managing our team of fitness trainers, and driving business growth through innovative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our fitness operations, including developing and implementing fitness programs, managing our group exercise offering, and ensuring high operational standards on site.
  • Manage our team of fitness trainers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional member experiences.
  • Develop and implement business growth initiatives, including driving commercial performance, managing budgets, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Support the General Manager with administrative tasks, including rotas, time tracking, and security checks.
  • Act as a keyholder for the gym, providing support and guidance to the team in the absence of the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a fitness management role, with a strong track record of driving business growth and delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or currently studying for the qualification.
