As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Site Safety Management: Collaborate with the project team and safety team to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA manager to ensure high-quality standards are met throughout the project.
  • Project Scheduling: Assist in managing project timelines and coordinating with the project team and project manager.
  • Cost Management: Oversee and track all project costs, including labor, materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Team Management: Directly manage the project team, ensuring alignment of all disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Track progress and manpower levels of subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Snagging System Management: Assist in managing the in-progress snagging system, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists as required.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure accurate reporting of direct labor hours and subcontractor hours to the time administrator.
  • Project Close-out: Support the project manager in closing out all project items, including final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, and QA files.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the design and construction process
  • Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction manager
