About the Role
We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Construction Cost Manager to join the team at A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd. This role involves working on a significant new build project within the educational sector, valued at £30 million. You will be an integral part of the senior site team, reporting directly to a Commercial Manager, ensuring the successful delivery of projects for our esteemed client.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the commercial resources of the project to optimize profit margins through subcontractor contract placements.
- Manage subcontract packages from initial inquiry to final account settlement.
- Implement package management and change control processes.
- Conduct regular reviews with the team to identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assess variations and valuations of subcontractor accounts.
- Authorize contracts, materials, and plant orders.
- Enhance cash flow through effective control, measurement, negotiation, invoicing, and payment of the supply chain.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly cost reports.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Construction Cost Manager, either with a Principal Contractor or Subcontractor.
- A solid educational background, including at least an HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with clients and the supply chain.
- Proficiency in managing subcontract packages from inquiry to final account.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- A demonstrated stable employment history.
