About the Role

Viasat is seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our Systems Integration team. As a CAD Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our Energy clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings for various departments
  • Collaborate with project engineers to prioritize and complete CAD drawings on time
  • Manage and maintain the drawing office database using Microsoft Access
  • Convert drawings to various formats (DXF, DGN, PDF) as required by projects
  • Provide internal and external support for CAD services
  • Archive completed project drawings

Requirements

  • Hold a minimum of HNC level in a relevant technical subject
  • Proficient in the latest AutoCAD release
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

We're seeking a detail-oriented CAD Operator with excellent communication skills, able to prioritize tasks and handle unexpected challenges. Experience working with diverse teams and clients is a plus.
