Safehouse Advocate

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Safehouse Advocate to join our team at Causeway Charitable Services. As a key member of our North West safe-houses team, you will provide critical support to individuals identified as Potential Victims of Human Trafficking (PVOHT).

**Key Responsibilities:**

• **Case Management:** Work closely with PVOHT to identify and address their needs, providing emotional and practical support to ensure their well-being and safety.
• **Collaboration and Communication:** Regularly meet with Accommodation Coordinators to discuss case progress, share best practices, and ensure seamless communication with other organizations, including health professionals, legal representatives, and government agencies.
• **Service Coordination:** Arrange and attend appointments with PVOHT, including families, to provide ongoing support and advocacy.
• **Administrative Tasks:** Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork, including weekly reviews, risk assessments, support plans, and inductions, in adherence to contractual requirements.
• **Volunteer Support:** Provide guidance and oversight to volunteers working with you on shift, ensuring they have the necessary support and adhere to policies and procedures.
• **Performance Metrics:** Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effective delivery of services.
• **Progression and Exit Strategies:** Work with PVOHT to develop and implement personalized progression plans, ensuring timely exit strategies are in place.
• **Crisis Response:** Respond to out-of-hours crises in accordance with the standby rota, providing critical support to PVOHT in times of need.
• **Referral and Induction:** Receive and process out-of-hours referrals, conduct inductions, and update the IT system to ensure accurate and timely information.
• **Compliance and Promotion:** Ensure adherence to all internal procedures, legislation, and contractual requirements, promoting Causeway's mission and values through professional representation and advocacy.
