About the Role

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our client's small team in the marine engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on developing technologies that improve the energy efficiency of marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data platforms and microservices components in C# on Azure platforms.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, senior software engineers, data scientists, and naval architects to drive innovation.
  • Work with a team of cloud, frontend, and backend engineers to develop a data platform that processes millions of incoming data points.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of C#.
  • Experience with Python is ideal, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in React or JavaScript.
  • Experience with SQL Alchemy, Django, or Entity Framework.
  • Azure Cloud/Azure DevOps expertise.
