We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children and Young People's Development Officer to join our team at Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote physical activity and mental well-being among children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs that promote physical activity and mental well-being among children and young people
- Work with community groups, schools, and other stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver training and resources for professionals working with children and young people
- Conduct research and evaluation to inform program development and improvement
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, schools, and local authorities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing programs for children and young people
- Strong understanding of the importance of physical activity and mental well-being for children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
