As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external guests, ensuring the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken. You will be responsible for a section of service, completing tasks to the highest standard expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing an unforgettable experience.
  • Service Standards: Ensure all services meet our standards for a 5-star experience, serving food and drinks quickly and efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with current promotions and new products through training and briefings, making customers aware of promotions through training and self-study.
  • Event Support: Assist in function or event set-ups in accordance with procedures, carrying out work as instructed by your line manager.
  • Financial Management: Maintain exemplary billing systems, obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company policy, and accurately process all reception sales.
  • Health and Safety: Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations, ensuring high standards of financial and reporting diligence.
  • Professionalism: Present the company and yourself in a professional manner at all times, maintaining the highest hygiene standards in your personal presentation and manner.
  • Legislation Compliance: Ensure key legislation is complied with and followed, minimizing and handling complaints professionally in accordance with our policies.
  • Communication: Ensure good working relationships with all other departments, communicating information throughout the hotel.
  • Emergency Procedures: Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
