Oxbridge Graduates - Aspiring Teacher

A world-renowned Secondary School in the Borough of Barking & Dagenham is seeking highly motivated and academically talented graduates to work as Secondary Teaching Assistants for immediate starts.

You will be working across your desired subject specialism, carrying out 1:1 and group interventions with a focus on raising attainment.

The Head Teacher is keen to find graduates for the following subjects:

  1. English Teaching Assistant x2
  2. Maths Teaching Assistant x2
  3. Science Teaching Assistant x3
  4. Learning Support Assistants x3 (Perfect for Psychology Grads)

You will have the opportunity to enroll onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School starting September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out GCSE and A Level interventions
  • Working across KS4-5 with a focus on raising attainment
  • Enrolling onto the aspiring Secondary Teacher Program (Schools Direct)

Requirements:

  • Desirable degree from a reputable University
  • Good A Levels and GCSEs across the board
  • Confidence in your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE and A Level curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Commitment and ambition to succeed
