About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Export Operations Specialist to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and proactive management of export operations, delivering exceptional customer service and driving success in international trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and action generic email boxes and respond in a timely manner.
  • Arrange collection from vendors and utilize ProCarS to produce shipping documentation.
  • Prepare export entries in accordance with UK HMRC regulations and job file invoicing.
  • Ensure all queries and complaints are investigated and responded to promptly, both from external and internal customers/suppliers.
  • Support sales and CSM with customer visits as requested and ensure customer invoicing is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all rates received are passed to the Team Leader for loading into ProCarS for auto rating.
  • Support the Team Leader with management and development of staff/arranging the necessary workloads.

Requirements

  • Strong background in airfreight logistics.
  • Expertise in planning, organizing, and executing export operations.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to satisfaction.
  • Skilled in teamwork and team building.
  • Flexible and effective communicator.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
