Position Overview:


ABC Teachers is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Sports Specialist who will also take on the role of a Cover Supervisor in educational institutions.

This position entails conducting engaging sports training sessions while overseeing classes in various subjects during teacher absences.

Key Duties:

Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
Oversee classroom activities during teacher absences, ensuring students stay focused on assigned tasks.
Maintain a conducive learning atmosphere and manage student behavior effectively.
Deliver prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the curriculum.
Assist students with their inquiries regarding the material and support their learning.
Report any concerns or issues to the appropriate Head of Department or Senior Leadership Team.
Lead or assist in Physical Education sessions within the department.

Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience in coaching various sports to youth is essential.
Prior experience in an educational setting, especially in a cover supervisor capacity, is advantageous.
Strong classroom management abilities and the capability to engage students of diverse skill levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
