We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEMH Inclusion Practitioner to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality inclusive provision and supporting pupils with SEMH challenges in mainstream settings.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and experience of working with pupils with challenging social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will be expected to advise and support teachers and teaching assistants in developing interventions and teaching adaptations to promote reasonable adjustments and make learning engaging and accessible to all.

In return, we offer a range of benefits, including regular training and development opportunities, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
We are an inclusive organisation that values diversity and promotes equality, and we welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a HLTA qualification or equivalent, GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language, and experience of working with pupils with special educational needs in a primary school or pupil referral unit.
