Fleet Operations Manager

As a key member of the JD Sports Fashion plc team, the Fleet Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company's fleet of vehicles. This position requires a strong understanding of fleet management principles, practices, and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a fleet management strategy to optimize vehicle utilization, minimize operating costs, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles, including negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze fleet data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and implement fleet safety and compliance programs to ensure regulatory requirements are met and drivers are trained to operate vehicles safely.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand fleet requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in fleet management, preferably on a global scale within fast-paced omni-channel retail and/or relevant commodity/services experience.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities to deliver operational and financial efficiencies.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and other relevant technology tools.
