Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited in Felixstowe. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts, coaching and mentoring a small team, reviewing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS, handling the financial consolidation process including relevant reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with various legislations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the preparation of the annual statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coach and mentor a small team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Review and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Oversee the financial consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with various legislations, including VAT and corporation tax requirements.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant financial accounting experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to lead through change effectively, with clear goals and outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
