Our client is a distinguished food-centric pub known for its exceptional reputation, nestled in a charming village.
They are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to enhance their team of five. This bustling gastro pub is committed to crafting all dishes in-house using the finest local produce. The establishment has garnered numerous accolades and currently holds a prestigious rosette.
As a capable all-rounder, you will manage various kitchen sections. Above all, you must demonstrate leadership by effectively running the kitchen during the head chef's absence. This vibrant gastro pub caters to up to 150 guests daily without compromising quality. You will set a strong example for the brigade in this hands-on role.
This Sous Chef position is ideal for an experienced Junior Sous or Sous Chef who possesses a genuine passion for culinary arts and exhibits creativity and flair. The gastro pub enjoys an outstanding reputation in the local community and beyond. They take pride in sourcing from local suppliers and showcase this commitment through a daily menu that highlights the best seasonal produce.
The successful candidate will embody the enthusiasm and ambition necessary to thrive in this industry. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Junior Sous or Sous Chef.
Applicants should have experience working with fresh ingredients, ideally in a busy rosette-rated or fresh food environment, and must be accustomed to a high-paced kitchen atmosphere.
