Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Longbridge Deverill House. As a key member of our care home staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Empty waste bins and maintain a clean and hygienic waste management system.
- Vacuum and dust all areas of the care home, including floors, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Shake out cushions and clean dining rooms, lounges, and toilets.
- Clean taps, sinks, and soap dispenser outlets, ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
- Clean toothbrush holders and spot clean all floorings.
- Wash bathroom, toilet, and en-suite floors, and polish all mirrors.
- Clean pipe work in toilets and dust handrails and radiators.
- Move mobile furniture and vacuum and dust beneath and behind.
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins and dust and polish furniture and windowsills.
- Wash lino floors and shampoo carpets as requested by the Home Manager.
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings, and restock toiletries, soaps, and towels when required.
Requirements
- £11.44 per hour.
- Contracted to 35 hours per week.
- Pension.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).
- DBS.
- Onsite parking.
