Engineering Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team in developing innovative products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research and development of new and existing products
  • Organize and supervise the Engineering Team
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and investigate opportunities to exploit technology and products across all target sectors
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and record-keeping for the Engineering Team
  • Provide technical support to customers, distributors, governing bodies, and colleagues
  • Participate in technical reviews of product designs, requirements, and specifications
  • Assist with quality control of products and support manufacturing processes
  • Create, review, and update technical documentation
  • Attend and coordinate testing and trials for new and existing products
  • Conduct product/technical presentations to customers, design consultants, colleagues, and at industry seminars
  • Liaise with internal departments on ideas to enhance product performance and new product ideas

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills, outgoing, confident, and articulate
  • CAD proficiency (preferably SolidWorks & AutoCAD)
  • Capability to write technical responses, documentation, and manuals
  • Confident and highly motivated customer-facing engineer with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator and key focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Good understanding of metals manufacturing processes
  • Willingness to take on roles, responsibilities, and challenges required to achieve company goals
