Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology Educator to lead our Ultimate Tech programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding technology and coding activities to small groups of 8- to 14-year-olds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging tech activities that focus on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Team Management: Directly manage a team of staff to ensure they deliver high-quality care and activities.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks and act as the main point of contact for parents.
  • Role Modeling: Demonstrate the company's values and behave as a suitable role model for children.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media related course.
  • Experience: Proven experience in working with children and a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills.
  • Leadership: Natural leadership skills with management experience, ideally within the IT teaching or holiday camp sectors.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and patience.
Desirable Requirements
  • First Aid Qualification: Hold a Paediatric First Aid (6 hour or 12 hour) qualification or be willing to gain one.
