The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding technology and coding activities, managing a team of staff, and ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver technology and coding activities for children aged 8-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
- Directly manage a team of staff to ensure they deliver high-quality care and activities.
- Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
- Supervise and engage with children outside of timetabled activities.
- Manage administrative duties and act as the main point of contact for parents.
- Live up to the Ultimate Activity Camp promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of the company.
Requirements:
- Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media related course.
- Experience in working with children and a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills.
- Natural leadership skills and management experience, ideally within the IT teaching or holiday camp sectors.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
