We are seeking a highly skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, and fan units.
- Conduct thorough fault diagnosis and rectification of defects and worn/damaged components.
- Utilize electrical testing capabilities to assess the condition of AC and DC components.
- Apply sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components, as well as understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options.
- Gain experience in pump maintenance, specifically hot oil and water pumps, as well as basic hydraulic knowledge.
Working Hours and Environment:
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will work in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment. You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and participate in a call-out rota as needed.
Requirements:
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site and in the workshop as required.
- Strong health and safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
