About the Role
Achieving for Children is a leading provider of fostering services, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Fostering and Kinship Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a range of services to support children and families, including recruitment, assessment, training, and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine the most suitable foster care arrangements.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support the needs of children and families.
- Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children Act and the Fostering Regulations.
About You
- You will have a professional qualification in social work (DipSW/CQSW/CSS or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England.
- You will have experience of working with children and families in a fostering or social work setting.
- You will have excellent assessment, communication, and report writing skills.
- You will be able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, foster carers, and other professionals.
