About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to join our team at Recruit North Recruitment. As a key member of our Board, you will play a vital role in the running of our company, overseeing the finance and administrative functions of our small but busy business.

The successful candidate will have a sound financial background and experience in managing the finance and administrative functions of a company operating in various sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, including cash management, budgeting, and financial performance, as well as managing administrative responsibilities such as human resources, payroll, and IT.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, AML, and H&S. Additionally, you will oversee the IT function and manage the Business Risk Register.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience in overseeing and managing the areas listed above and is willing to consider either full or part-time work. The salary for this role is around £70,000 (or pro rata if part-time).

To be eligible for this role, you must already have the legal right to live permanently and work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorships and are unable to provide immigration advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the finance function, including cash management, budgeting, and financial performance
  • Manage administrative responsibilities such as human resources, payroll, and IT
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, AML, and H&S
  • Oversee the IT function and manage the Business Risk Register
Requirements

We are looking for someone with a sound financial background and experience in managing the finance and administrative functions of a company operating in various sectors. You should have a strong understanding of finance, administration, and regulatory compliance.

Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate experience in overseeing and managing the areas listed above and be willing to consider either full or part-time work.
