Telecommunications Specialist

Interior Health Authority is seeking a Casual Telecommunications Specialist to become a part of their dedicated team. This role will require flexibility with rotating shifts, including daytime, nighttime, and evening hours.

The Casual Telecommunications Specialist will undertake a variety of administrative responsibilities, which include:

• Managing the switchboard operations
• Welcoming and registering patients
• Handling accounts receivable processes

Qualifications:

• Completion of Grade 12 education
• A current Typing Test demonstrating a minimum of 45 nwpm
• Proof of Medical Terminology knowledge
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Willingness to be available for on-call duties

This casual position entails being available on short notice, providing coverage during temporary absences, and offering relief support in designated roles.
