Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of NoSQL databases, ensuring they are consistently available, secure, and equipped with the necessary high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Champion automation initiatives with a philosophy of "everything as code".
- Lead complex database operations and tasks with confidence.
- Handle extensive table modifications, advanced query optimization, and data migration processes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing Cassandra production environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically GCP or AWS.
- Experience in administering MongoDB and/or Elasticsearch.
- Strong background in utilizing database monitoring tools and performance enhancement strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly git.
As part of this role, you will also participate in an on-call rotation.
This position offers remote work flexibility and is outside the scope of IR35 regulations.
