Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in Reading. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of our business by providing staffing solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for proactively pursuing new business opportunities, managing sales leads, and building relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities and manage sales leads to drive revenue growth.
  • Offer clear guidance on shift terms to candidates and clients, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Conduct outreach to potential clients and build relationships to promote our brand and services.
  • Collaborate with our commercial team to understand and communicate our business offerings, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Meet/exceed set targets, including financial goals, and report to the Branch Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, contractual obligations, and legislation, maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Follow our company management systems, payroll, and recruitment procedures, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Promote equal opportunities, handle complaints, and adhere to health and safety legislation, maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Flexibly assist neighbouring branches when needed and complete required training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • A passion for business development and a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, account management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
  • A confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the care industry is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Some travel will be required for this role, so a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
