We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic engineering team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge light helicopters for the global market.
As part of a dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of aviation by developing innovative mechanical designs that meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop detailed mechanical design schemes for various aircraft parts and assemblies.
- Lead the design and development of complex systems, such as landing gear, flight controls, cabin seating, engine installations, or rotor systems.
- Utilize hand calculations, simulation methods, modeling tools, and CAE software to analyze, optimize, and size system elements.
- Create 3D CAD models for parts and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Develop comprehensive testing plans for prototypes and systems, contributing to rigorous quality assurance.
About You
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in mechanical design, analysis, and development within the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software is essential for this role.
- A strong understanding of engineering principles and calculations, coupled with experience using simulation and modeling tools (e.g., Mathcad, ANSYS).
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively and collaborate within a team environment.
