We are collaborating with a distinguished facilities management contractor renowned for delivering comprehensive building maintenance services across the UK.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking to recruit a mobile engineer to enhance our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position involves working mobile throughout the designated area, performing maintenance tasks on a diverse array of air conditioning and HVAC systems. The focus will primarily be on air conditioning maintenance, but other light maintenance tasks will also be included.
  • You will travel to dedicated sites, acting as the primary contact for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services, along with general building maintenance. Responsibilities may include emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, lamp replacements, basic plumbing, and fabric maintenance.
  • Conducting HVAC and air conditioning maintenance, both PPM and reactive tasks.
  • You will work independently, taking charge of delivering planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. Ideally, you should be capable of confidently executing a variety of additional tasks.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must possess HVAC qualifications - Level 2 and F Gas certification.
  • Experience in performing PPM and reactive maintenance tasks is essential.
  • Strong general knowledge of mechanical/HVAC maintenance along with familiarity in general facilities management trades.
  • Local residency with willingness to travel throughout the region.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
