Job Description:

Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer - Site Based Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment at our Cheltenham facility, as well as occasional projects at neighboring facilities and site installations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration equipment
  • Conduct reactive breakdown fault-find and repair of equipment in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge and technical understanding of refrigeration equipment and conduct safety checks to ensure each item is safe and fit for purpose
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with equipment and diagnose and order parts for a first-time fix
  • Complete full inspections and reports to provide for the business and client as required
  • Assist and support the Technical Support and Projects Departments as required on equipment maintenance and installations

Requirements:

  • F-Gas qualifications
  • At least 3 years' previous experience in a refrigeration catering equipment environment
  • Proven electrical skills and experience
  • Additional experience of testing and repairing Electrical Catering Equipment, basic Plumbing, commercial Warewashing and Gas experience is advantageous
